Glenbard District 87 Students Receive 'Character Counts!' Awards

Students from Glenbard East, Glenbard North and Glenbard West received "Character Counts!" awards from the village of Glendale Heights.

The following press release was submitted by Glenbard District 87:

Four Glenbard District 87 students received Character Counts! awards from the village of Glendale Heights.

Glenbard East student Antoine Jack Jr., Glenbard North student Daniel Pena and Glenbard West student Corey Davis each received a Principals’ Pillar Award for exhibiting all six pillars of character:  trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship.

Glenbard West student Thomas Hajduk received the Citizenship award.

These students were honored April 25 during the annual Character Counts! Pillar Awards breakfast at Glendale Lakes Golf Club in Glendale Heights. They were honored as individuals who “go above and beyond expectations to help others, overcome obstacles and live with integrity.”
