On Friday, August 24, at 1:00 P.M., Lombard Garden Club’s Roberta Pawlak, member of the Conservation and Environment Committee will lead a discussion on “’The Prairie - A Land of Fire, Flowers and Grass.” This topic is very important to the Garden Club since their major event, “Prairie Day,’ is scheduled for Sunday, September 16, at Terrace View Park from 11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.
The location of the Fri., Aug. 24, meeting is the Lombard Commons Building at 433 St. Charles Rd. Guests are welcome to attend the Garden Club meeting and can make a reservation by calling 630-469-6372.
