Glenbard South High School Hosts District 89 Chorus Festival on March 10

    Saturday, March 10, Community Consolidated School District 89 choruses will gather for the District 89 Chorus Festival at Glenbard South High School,  23W200 Butterfield Rd. in Glen Ellyn.  Fifth grade choristers from the four elementary schools in the district, Arbor View, Park View, Westfield, and  Briar Glen, will be joined by the sixth, seventh and eighth grade choruses from Glen Crest Middle School, under the direction of Paul Ropp. 
    The singers will rehearse earlier in the day and at  3:00 P.M. will present a combined concert in the Glenbard South Auditorium.  This concert is open to the public and free of charge.  Stephanie Skizas, choral conductor at Glenbard South, will be the conductor for the festival.  Debbie Hatmaker will be the accompanist.  The concert will conclude with an original song by Jay Althouse titled, “Let Freedom Ring.”  Call Glen Crest’s office, 630-469-5220
