Confident Parenting in a World of Change -- Breaking Through to the Modern Teenager

Dr Ron Taffel, one of the country's most sought-after child rearing experts, knows what are the most important elements that parents must master in transitioning 21st century kids into competent and accomplished adults. Dr. Taffel will describe a new way to understand what our children need to feel safe, secure, and appropriately happy. Dr. Taffel will present parents with the latest innovative methods to:   * Lessen endless negotiating & entitlement  * Set limits that are actually enforceable   * Help kids open up about what really matters  * Learn how to give advice to our "sophisticated" (know it all)  teens  * Increase teens' resilience in tough times  * Lower adolescent and family stress.

Dr. Taffel, draws upon decades of counseling experience to offer an original perspective on the distinctive challenges parents face in raising today's teens. All loving and struggling parents will benefit from this frank, funny, and comforting talk as we learn concrete techniques from a master of modern adolescence techniques to raise healthy 21st century teens.
