 The League of Women Voters of Wheaton and Glen Ellyn and the Wheaton Chamber of Commerce will co-sponsor two nights of Candidate Forums at the Wheaton Park District Community Center on Tuesday January 24 and Wednesday January 25. This year’s primary election will be held on March 20, with early voting starting the last week in February. Last year’s redistricting effort, with the redrawn map, creates a situation where every position is up for election.  Candidates for state representative and senate have been invited to participate on Tuesday night, January 24. On Wednesday night, January 25, candidates for county board and forest preserve are invited. Doors will open in the Memorial Room (large auditorium on north end of the building) at 6:30 and the event will start promptly at 7:00 and conclude around 9:00.
