Basics of Pruning Topic for Lombard Garden Club April Meeting



    Friday, April 27, at the Lombard Commons located at Grace Street and St. Charles Road, beginning at 1:00 P.M., garden expert Don Guzman will talk on the topic, “The Basics of Pruning.”  The Lombard Garden Club welcomes guests to this meeting so they can learn, along with the club members, the basics of pruning their own gardens.  Call 630-469-6372 for a reservation. 
    Guzman will cover herbaceous perennials, woody ornamentals, evergreens and other trees.  He will also be recommending tools and explaining their uses.
