Author Will Discuss Varied Journeys to Parenthood

Author and journalist Jennifer Grant of Wheaton will lead a discussion on the varied journeys to parenthood from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26 at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, Main Street at Hillside Avenue in Glen Ellyn.

Grant will draw on her book “Love You More: The Divine Surprise of Adopting My Daughter,” and her experience as the mother of four. She will discuss how language shapes attitudes towards family, adoption and infertility, and how we can connect with families of all sizes and origins.

Grant’s book chronicles her family’s decision to adopt, their search, and adjustment to life as a multicultural family. Autographed copies of her book will be available for sale. Learn more about her work at www.jennifergrant.com.
