AAUW Program: Sexual Violence on Campus

Please join the Wheaton-Glen Ellyn AAUW for a presentation by Stacy St. Clair, an investigative reporter for the Chicago Tribune, on Title IX Compliance: How Midwestern Colleges Respond (or Not) to Sexual Violence on Campus.

Ms. St. Clair recently co-authored three articles entitled “Marquette failed on attack reports” (June 22, 2011), “One woman’s lonely stand at Marquette” (October 28, 2011), and “109 reports of sex crimes, just 5 convictions” (December 4, 2011). She will be discussing Marquette and Notre Dame Universities’ reactions to recent claims by their students of sexual assault, as well as her recent investigation of sexual assaults on other Chicago-area campuses.
