District 87 Students Earn Character Awards

Glenbard West student recognized as someone exhibiting trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship.

From District 87:

Congratulations to Glenbard East student Javonte Burnett, Glenbard North student Anthony Zatto and Glenbard West student Zainab Saad on earning Character Counts! awards from the village of Glendale Heights.

These students were honored April 26 during the annual Character Counts! Pillar Awards breakfast at Glendale Lakes Golf Club in Glendale Heights. They were honored as individuals who “go above and beyond expectations to help others, overcome obstacles and live with integrity.”

The students received the Principals’ Pillar Award for exhibiting all six pillars of character: trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship.
