District 41 Moves Forward With Plans for New Classrooms

The Glen Ellyn Elementary District 41 school board on Monday approved going ahead with phase one of the a $15.6 million project to add four flexible classrooms at Forest Glen, Lincoln, Franklin and Churchill schools, according to the Daily Herald. 

The board approved a construction timeline and schematic designs for the classrooms and construction bids will be due by January with the first additions beginning at Franklin and possibly Lincoln by the summer of 2014, according to the article.
