D87 Invites Hispanic Parents to Leadership Academy

The Glenbard Parent Series/Navigating Healthy Parenting presents "En la Silla del Conductor," Parents in the Drivers Seat—Academy. This workshop will be presented at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, in the library at Glenbard East High School, 1014 S. Main St. in Lombard. 

The Sit in the Driver's Seat Parent Leadership Academy with Lourdes Ferrer, offered in Spanish, provides Hispanic parents the knowledge and skills they need to successfully navigate the American educational system, monitor their children's education and assume leadership roles in their communities.
