I am curious what our Democratic friends views and opinions now are of Pres. Obama regarding Edward Snowden? Clearly, this president now seems to be enthusiastically following former Pres. Bush in the hardline squashing of openness and rights to privacy. Snowden is being persued with a vengeance and the Patriot Act continues to be unquestioned and unmonitored, under this administration.
I am not sure we can continue to be silent in this clear disagreement with the president, who comes from our own party. I think the elephant in the room must be addressed at some point.
