Village Warning Residents: Report Solicitors Unaffiliated with Aggregation Program

Residents are asked to report solicitors seeking to sign up or accept payments under the guise of the village's aggregation program.

The Village of Glen Ellyn is again warning residents that there are people going door-to-door and engaging in phone solicitations related to the voter approved aggregation program.

In November, the village warned residents of people unaffiliated with the village who were canvassing the community saying they were an electric provider for the village.

More recently, at least one company has people, not affiliated with the village, contacting residents and asking them to sign up or make payments. The village, in a message to residents, said the company is not affiliated with the Village of Glen Ellyn’s aggregation program.
