Village Board Approves Street Widening Projects

Several details surrounding the Lenox-Linden roadway improvement projects were debated and then approved by a 3-2 vote during a Glen Ellyn Village Board meeting Monday night, according to the Daily Herald. 

Five of the six recommendations by the village's Capital Improvements Commission were approved, which includes direction on the width of the streets, the type of surface and details on sidewalk improvements, according to the article. Opponents to the widening projects say the improvements will decrease green space, according to the Daily Herald.
