Trustees Approve Demolition of Property Near Five Corners

The property near Stacy's Corners will remain standing for 30 to 60 days, according to the Daily Herald.

According to the Daily Herald, the Glen Ellyn Village Board of Trustees voted to knock down a century-old building located at 810 N. Main St. at Tuesday's board meeting.

The decision was met with opposition from the chairman of the historic preservation committee, Lee Marks, who asked the board to hold off on demolition until more analysis of the building could be conducted by experts.
