Second Special Meeting on COD De-Annexation
The Village of Glen Ellyn could adopt a policy statement at tonight's meeting.
The Glen Ellyn Village Board will host another special meeting Monday night to discuss the village’s policy towards the ’s de-annexation.
At the June 6 special meeting, Glen Ellyn Village Board President Mark Pfefferman presented a policy statement he drafted. However, because of a lack of specifics, the board tabled its adoption until Monday’s meeting.
This marks the second special meeting the village has had on COD’s plans to de-annex. The policy statement drafted by Pfefferman stated that while the board believed that de-annexation was not in the interest of either COD or Glen Ellyn, the village will not use legal action to stop COD.
