President's Day Closures in DuPage County

Some government offices are closed today in honor of President's Day.

School is out in honor of President’s Day and, in addition, some government offices are closed today.

In DuPage County the following offices will be closed Monday, Feb. 18. 

The DuPage County Jack T. Knuepfer Administration Building, located at 421 N. County Farm Road in Wheaton, will be closed Monday, Feb. 18. County departments and services will reopen at their regular times on Tuesday, Feb. 19.

The U.S. Postal Service will observe the federal holiday with post offices closed and no mail delivery or retail service. Customers are encouraged to still drop their mail in blue street collection boxes, so they can be processed early the next day.

For customers depositing mail on Feb. 19, Central IL District Manager Peter Allen advises they drop their mail no later than 3 p.m. in order to get it processed sooner.

The DuPage County Health Department’s Public Health Centers in Addison, Lombard, West Chicago, Westmont and Wheaton will be closed on Monday. The Health Department’s Crisis Hotline 630-627-1700 in Behavioral Health Services will remain in operation. All offices will reopen at their regular times on Feb. 19.
