Post Holiday Clean Up: Village Accepting Holiday Lights, Picking Up Greens

The Village of Glen Ellyn is helping make holiday clean up a little bit easier for residents.

Time to trash the tree and those holiday lights that stopped twinkling.

The Village of Glen Ellyn can help you dispose of both those holiday greens and no longer flashing greens, reds and blue lights.

If you have old holiday lights that no longer work or if you switched to LED lights, your old lights can be recycled. Recycled holiday lights are being accepted at the Village of Glen Ellyn’s civic center until Feb. 18. Extension cords are all being accepted.
