Mitt Romney Will Spend Primary Night Near Wheaton
NBC 5 Chicago is reporting that both Romney and Santorum have planned campaign stops in Illinois.
GOP presidential hopeful Mitt Romney is expected to arrive in Illinois Monday and spend primary night at a location near Wheaton, NBC 5 Chicago reports.
Romney's campaign is sending half a dozen staffers ahead of his arrival.
Fellow GOP contender Rick Santorm will make campaign stops in Elgin and Niles before heading to southern Illinois, according to the NBC 5 report.

Earlier in March, MyFoxChicago.com reported that Romney plans a fundraiser in Wheaton on primary day, March 20.
According to the Wheaton College archives website, Romney wanted to hold a rally at the college early in the 2008 Republican primary, the Sunday before Super Tuesday, but was unable to secure permission to campus facilities.

The last campaign to visit Wheaton College was Jesse Jackson in 1988, according to the site.
