Here's a preview of what we're keeping an eye on this week.

DUPAGE:

Downers Grove:
- , who has pleaded guilty to murdering his wife and unborn child, sentencing is set to begin on Aug. 16, although it will not finish up until next month.

Elmhurst:

The next morning she woke up to find him unresponsive. After Luchettta called 911 he was transported to the hospital and was later released.

Lisle:
- Murder-for-hire suspect is scheduled for a status hearing on Aug. 16. Fromelius is accused of hiring an undercover Lisle police officer to attack and harm an executor of an estate of which he was a beneficiary.

- The returns to court on Aug. 15. Jameson's attorney wants to disqualify Hollywood's attorneys, and has also filed a dismissal motion that, among other things, contends there was no valid contract for her appearance. They also allege some issues with whether Jameson actually signed any agreement. The owner of two suburban theaters—one in Naperville and the other in Woodridge—is suing Jameson for ditching out on two scheduled meet-and-greet appearances in March.

KANE:
St. Charles:
- , accused of sexually assaulting a babysitter last year, returns to court Aug. 18 for a status hearing.

- Also appearing for a status hearing on Aug. 18 is for his attempted murder case. Bocanegra has pleaded not guilty to charges that he beat and tried to kill a former girlfriend.

- Still more on Aug. 18, Alia Bernard—accused of aggravated DUI in a 2009 fatal crash that killed a St. Charles couple, returns to court for a judge to set her trial date. She had a trial scheduled, but prosecutors refiled indictments against her earlier this year which pushed things back.
