Grants Available to Area Nonprofit Organizations

The Village of Glen Ellyn Community Grant Program supports nonprofits that provide services to Glen Ellyn residents.

The Village of Glen Ellyn in fiscal year 2013-14 will offer up to $25,000 in grants to nonprofit organizations in the area through its Community Grant Program, according to a news release from the village.

"The Community Grant Program seeks to enhance the quality of life of Glen Ellyn residents by providing annual funding opportunities to organizations that provide critical services to Glen Ellyn residents," according to the release.

Grants could support programs related to education, social services, physical and mental health, safe and positive living environments, environmental and natural resources, community events and arts, according to the release.

In order to be eligible for the program, organizations must be nonprofits that provide direct services to the residents of the Village of Glen Ellyn.
