Glen Ellyn to Add New Parking Lot Downtown

The village of Glen Ellyn is planning to add a new 45-space commuter parking lot next month, which will be available for customer use after 6 p.m., near the intersection of Duane Street and Glenwood Avenue, according to the Daily Herald.

The purpose of the new lot is to address a "perceived" parking problem in Glen Ellyn. There are currently eight parking facilities and 427 spaces on the street and police Chief Phil Norton said that when they check during the day, there is "plenty of parking."
