Glen Ellyn Recycling Event Keeps Electronics Out of the Trash

The Village of Glen Ellyn is hosting an electronics recycling event Saturday.

If you’ve purchased a new flatscreen TV or bought a new computer and aren’t sure what to do with the old ones, the Village of Glen Ellyn is ready to help you unload the items.

The village will be hosting a free fall recycling event Saturday. During the event, residents will be able to drop off a variety of electronics from batteries to desktop computers.

The event will be held from 8 a.m. to noon at the Duane/Lorraine parking lot in downtown Glen Ellyn. The village is hosting the event along with the Glen Ellyn Environmental Commission and Creative Recycling Systems.
