Tonight, it's the opposition's turn to present a case against lights at Glenbard West High School's Memorial Field.
Former Glen Ellyn Village President Joe Wark is expected to testify as the opposition's first witness, according to Jim Ozog, attorney for the group opposed to the lights.
Before Wark's testimony, Ozog will complete cross-examination of the architects hired by .
Then, after an "impact video," Ozog will call upon a zoning and planning expert who will analyze the variance requests.
Ozog does not expect the hearings to conclude Thursday evening.

It was great the past three days to see GBW teams playing soccer and lacrosse games on a great surface while every other park team that plays or practices on grass had their time cancelled due to the rain. Last night the GBW boys had a soccer game and it was nearly dark while they were playing at 6:45pm. It would have been great to have lights for the field. Another team could have played or practiced from 7-9pm after that game. Lights would give the best field in town the opportunity to be used quite a bit more in the Spring or Fall.
