CAPIC, the regional chapter of the American Political Items Collectors will have its spring meet on Sunday, May 6th. Collectors of buttons, posters, and other items associated with American political campaigns will gather to show, trade, and sell material from the 20th and 21st centuries, including special exhibits of 2012 items.
There is no admission charge and guests are encouraged to bring their 2012 items to show, as well as older political items for which they would like to have informal identification or appraisal.
In addition to members and guests from Illinois, there are often attendees from Wisconsin, Indiana and Michigan, so there is a diverse group of collections to browse and explore.
