Are Banks Open on Presidents' Day in Glen Ellyn?

Most banks will be closed but there are a few in Glen Ellyn that will be open.

If you plan to do business with your bank on Monday, you'll probably need to wait until Tuesday.

Monday, Feb. 20, 2012, is Presidents Day, a federal holiday, and most banks in the area will be closed. 

The holiday is also known as Washington's Birthday and is observed on the third Monday in February to recognize the service of past presidents.

Despite the federal holiday, some Glen Ellyn banks will be open for business. Inland Bank & Trust, 520 Crescent Blvd., will be open with regularly scheduled hours from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Glen Ellyn Bank & Trust, 500 Roosevelt Rd., will be open for clients with basic deposits and withdrawals from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Bank of America, 600 W. Roosevelt Rd.
