Tire Squealing Leads to DUI Arrest, PADS Resident's Arrest Includes Drug Paraphernalia Charge
The following incidents were reported by Glen Ellyn police Dec. 10 and 13.
DUI Arrest
Ramiro Acosta, 27, 50 S. Finley Road, Glen Ellyn, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving without a license and illegal squealing of tires at Finley and St. James Place at 11:24 p.m. Dec. 10.
Possession of Cannabis

Andrew L. Santiago, 19, 172 Salem Court, Bloomingdale, was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis 30 grams or under, possession of drug paraphernalia and improper lane use at Lambert and Fairview at 11:04 a.m. Dec. 10.

Joseph J. Sakwa, 56, 703 W. Liberty, Wheaton (PADS Shelter), was arrested and charged with solicitation on the roadway and possession of drug paraphernalia at Roosevelt and Interstate 355 at 4:13 p.m. Dec. 13.
