Police Blotter: Thief Steals Shopper's Wallet, 4 Men Cited for Public Intoxication at Park

Driving under the influence

David W. Archer, 61, of Lombard was charged with driving under the influence and was cited for speeding on April 1 at 3:15 a.m. near Roosevelt Road and Exmoor Avenue.

Victor Vanderaa, 51, of Glen Ellyn was charged with driving under the influence and cited for speeding on April 1 at 5:06 p.m. near Hawthorne Boulevard and Kenilworth Avenue.

David A. McCall, 53, of Robbins was charged with driving under the influence on April 7 at 12:21 a.m. near Roosevelt and Lorraine Roads. McCall was cited for speeding and improper lane usage. 

Sean P. Jamison, 20, of Bloomingdale was charged with driving under the influence, possession of cannabis and possession of drug equipment on April 8 at 7:50 p.m. near Route 53 and Grove Street. Jamison was also cited for an equipment violation for having one light. 

Public intoxication

Four men were cited for public intoxication at Panfish Park, 620 Wilson Ave., on April 3 at 12:06 p.m.

Gregory S. Glawe, 22, of Glen Ellyn was cited for public intoxication in the 700 block of Main Street on April 7 at 2:53 a.m. 

Possession of a controlled substance

Steven Foster, 54, of Glendale Heights was charged with possession of a controlled substance at Jewel, 599 Roosevelt Rd., on April 5 at 5:07 p.m. Foster also had an in-state warrant for his arrest.

Trevor Hughes, 39, of Wheaton was charged with possession of cannabis and drug equipment on April 2 at 10:51 p.m. in the 300 block of Roosevelt Road. 

Domestic battery

Anthony D. Clark, 37, of Glen Ellyn was charged with domestic battery on April 5 at 7:30 p.m. in the 600 block of Roosevelt Road. 

Theft

An unknown offender stole a wallet from a shopper on April 7 at 2:32 p.m. at Jewel, 599 Roosevelt Rd.

An unknown offender stole an iPod from a gym locker on April 2 at 1:10 p.m. at Glenbard West High School, 650 Crescent Blvd. 

An unknown offender stole a GPS, iPhone and power cord from a vehicle parked in a driveway in the 900 block of Highland. 

An unknown offender stole a gas grill from the common area of the building in the 100 block of Surrey Drive sometime between 8 p.m. on April 3 and 5:30 p.m. on April 4. 

An unknown offender stole a laptop from an unlocked vehicle located in a parking lot in the 500 block of Roosevelt Road. The incident occurred sometime between 5 and 6 p.m. on April 5. 

Criminal damage to property

An unknown offender broke plexiglass covering the sign on the east side of Benjamin Franklin School, 350 Bryant Ave., on April 7 at 5:14 a.m. 

An unknown offender broke a flower pot in the 500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue sometime between 2 and 4:25 a.m. on April 8. 

Defacement of Property

An unknown offender spray painted graffiti on the exterior of the Churchill School Building, 240 Geneva Rd., on April 3 at 1:13 p.m.
