Four known gang members were arrested and charged with felony counts of mob action last weekend, DuPage Sheriff John Zaruba said Monday.
Emilio Guillen, 22, of the 1000 block of Neltnor in West Chicago; Oscar Hernandez, 17, of the 600 block of Hearth Lane in Carol Stream; and Marcos Solano, 17, and his brother Juan Solano, 18, both of the 21W600 block of Lynn Road in Lombard, have all been charged with one felony count of mob action, which is a Class 4 felony.
Sheriff Deputies responded to a call of a fight near the tennis courts in an apartment complex in unincorporated Lombard at about 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7. The victim, who was involved in the altercation and is also a known gang member, was treated by the paramedics and released at the scene.
Sheriff’s deputies were able to locate the suspects involved and take them into custody. All four men are in DuPage County Jail and appeared in bond court Sunday.
Guillen’s bond has been set for $50,000, Hernandez’s bond is $40,000, and the Solano brothers' bonds have been set at $15,000 each.
