Police Blotter: Road Rage, Man Caught Urinating Near Roosevelt Gas Station

The following arrest information was supplied by the Glen Ellyn Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

No valid driver's license: Ismael Valencia, 29, of Carol Stream was cited for sign violation and driving without a valid license on Nov. 6 at 12:12 a.m. near St. Charles Road and Eastern Avenue. 

Criminal defacement: Officers observed graffiti written on the south side of the Metra Train Depot station, 555 Crescent Blvd., on Nov. 6 at 11:13 a.m. 

Theft under $500: A resident of the 300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue reported that her computer was stolen by an unknown offender after placing it in the apartment hallway, while cleaning her place on Nov. 6 around 10 a.m.

No valid driver's license: Juan A. Guzman, 29, of Lombard was issued a citation for driving without a valid license.

Battery: Philip F. Koenig, 23, of Glen Ellyn, was cited for battery on Nov. 8 at 4:40 a.m. in the 600 block of Roosevelt Road. According to the report, Koenig was also cited for obstructing identification and was transported to DuPage County Jail.

Theft under $500: An unknown offender stole a wallet and iPhone from a locker room bench at Glenbard West High School, 670 Crescent Blvd., on Nov. 8 around 11:25 a.m. 

Possession of drug paraphernalia: A 16-year-old was observed smoking prior to school at Glenbard West High School. According to the report, the juvenile was then cited for possession of drug paraphernalia. 

No valid drive's license: Karron M. Thompson, 39, of Villa Park, was cited for driving without a valid license near Geneva Road and Western Avenue on Nov. 9 at 3:42 p.m. According to the report, Thompson was also cited for speeding and driving an uninsured motor vehicle.

Battery to officer: Officers responded to a domestic report on Nov. 9 at 6:35 p.m. in the 200 block of Main Street. According to the report, Scott A. Benham, 35, of Glen Ellyn, was charged with battery and resisting an officer. Benham was then transported to DuPage County Jail. 

Disorderly conduct: Mark Perry, 51, of Glendale Heights, was cited for disorderly conduct on Nov. 10 around 7:30 p.m. According to the report, a female reported that she was the victim of road rage involving Perry near the 500 block of Elm Street. 

Burglary from motor vehicle: An unknown offender stole a laptop from a vehicle in the 300 block of Duane Street. The theft occured sometime between Nov. 10 at 5 p.m. and Nov. 13 at 6 p.m. 

Driving under the influence: Rebecca M. Duka, 27, of Woodridge, was charged with driving under the influence, signal violation, and driving without lights near Route 53 and DuPage Boulevard on Nov. 12 at 1:28 a.m. 

Possession of cannabis: Ashley Stevens, 21, of Lombard, was issued a citation for speeding, possession of cannabis, and possession of drug equipment on Nov. 12 at 8:36 a.m. near Roosevelt Road and Royal Glen Drive.  

Disorderly conduct: Fernando De Loera Munos, 34, of Glen Ellyn, was observed urinating next to the Shell Gas Station, 631 Roosevelt Rd., on Oct. 23 at 2:15 a.m. According to the report, he was citation for disorderly conduct. 

Damage to property: An unknown offender damaged a parkway tree and grass near the 300 block of Lorraine Road, on Oct. 25 around 12:15 p.m. 

Criminal trespass to property: A juvenile returned to school after being suspended that same day, Oct. 25. The Lombard juvenile was cited for criminal trespass to property. 

No valid driver's license: Everardo Bucio-Verga, 48, of Carol Stream, was issued a traffic citation for driving without a valid license.

Criminal trespass to land: Robert A. Walensa, 55, of Wheaton, was previously banned from the Metra Train Depot, 555 Crescent Blvd., and was cited for returning on Oct. 26 at 10:55 a.m. Walensa was charged with criminal trespass. 

Domestic battery: Richard Bologna, 48, of Glen Ellyn, was charged with domestic battery on Oct. 27 in the 1200 block of Old Bond Court.
