Remembering Sep. 11

Members of the Glen Ellyn Volunteer Fire Company remember 9-11 and hold vigil at Firehouse 1.

Tonight, beginning at 7 p.m., members of the Glen Ellyn Volunteer Fire Company held a sunset vigil in remembrance of those who gave their lives in the terrorist attacks of Sep. 11, 2001.

The vigil included audio clips from firefighters responding to the scene of events, a moment of silence and lowering of the flag followed by the tolling of the bell.
