Purses, Jewelry, Cash, Electronics Among Items Stolen in Glen Ellyn
The following incidents of theft were reported by Glen Ellyn police in November.
A black and gray Coach purse, a diamond ring with a white-gold band and a black Chanel coat was stolen from the 400 block of Main Street sometime in the previous month. The crime was reported at 9:41 p.m. Nov. 4.
Someone stole $300 from a safe at Village Links, 485 Winchell Way, between 9:55 p.m. Nov. 3 and 11:30 a.m. Nov. 4.
Someone stole a cord from a hotel room at Budgetel Inn, 675 Roosevelt Road, at 12:24 a.m. Nov. 8.

A purse containing an Apple iPad, credit cards, a drivers license, ID and two check books was stolen after the owner left it unattended at Glen Prairie Restaurant, 1250 Roosevelt Road, at 10:25 p.m. Nov. 14.
A woman's wallet was stolen from the bathroom at the Lake Ellyn Boat House, 645 Lenox, at 4:30 p.m. Nov. 24. The wallet contained $40, credit cards and a drivers license.

An iPhone 5 cell phone, Call of Duty Xbox video game and $7 was taken from an unattended gym bag at Ackerman Sports Center, 800 St. Charles Road, between 3 and 5 p.m. Nov. 24.
A Sony Snapshot camera, prescription medication, $10 in change and a 30-piece screwdriver and wrench set was taken from a locked vehicle parked on the 300 block of Ash Lane between 4 p.m. Nov. 24 and 6:39 a.m. Nov. 25.
