Police Report Arrests for Attempted Armed Robbery, Possession of Stolen Vehicle

Possession of cannabis and criminal trespass also listed on the latest Glen Ellyn police blotter.

Attempted Armed Robbery

Hector L. Ortiz, 18, 102 W. Nevada, Glendale Heights, was arrested and charged with attempted armed robbery on the 300 block of Bryan Avenue at 8:15 p.m. Nov. 28. His next appearance in DuPage County Court is Dec. 30.

Possession of Stolen Vehicle

Justin P. Clasen, 43, 1002 Duncan, Elgin, was arrested and charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, aggravated driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance at BP Amoco, 339 Roosevelt Road, at 11:17 p.m. Nov. 25.

Adam C. Ostryzniuk, 23, 527 Lowden, Glen Ellyn, was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis under 30 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of syringes at Jewel, 599 Roosevelt Road, at 9:04 a.m. Nov. 28.

Criminal Trespass

James P. Overbeck, 22, 1990 Basswood Lane, Glendale Heights, was arrested and charged with criminal trespass to property at Budgetel Inn, 675 Roosevelt Road, at 2:40 p.m. Nov. 29.
