Police Blotter: Wheaton Man, 46, Cited for Public Indecency

Driving under the influence

Justin S. Friedman, 25, of Wheaton, was charged with driving under the influence, driving an uninsured motor vehicle, improper lane usage and failure to yield near Park Boulevard and Roosevelt Road on March 9 at 8:30 p.m.

Jose Palacios, 21, of Glendale Heights, was charged with driving under the influence, driving an uninsured motor vehicle, improper lane usage and speeding on March 10 at 12:36 a.m. near Roosevelt and Lambert Roads.

Antonio Ruiz-Luna, 32, of Glen Ellyn, was charged with driving under the influence, illegal transporation of alcohol, no driver's license and improper lane usage on March 11 at 4:33 a.m. near Main and Greenfield Streets. 

Richard A. Aspan, 43, of Elmhurst, was charged with driving under the influence, speeding, improper lane usage and improper turn at an intersection on March 11 at 5 a.m. near Park Boulevard and Harding Road. 

Carl U. LaForest, 55, of Glen Ellyn was charged with driving under the influence and a sign violation near Main Street and Crescent Boulevard on March 11 at 9:12 p.m. 

Possession of cannabis

Ashley N. Stevenson, 23, of Glen Ellyn, was charged with possession of cannabis on March 10 at 10:58 a.m. near Roosevelt and Surrey Roads. 

Public indecency

Odell Shannon, 46, of Wheaton, was cited for public indecency on March 10 at 8:50 a.m. near Pershing and Roosevelt Road. 

Theft

An unknown offender stole two longboards from the front porch of a residence located in the 500 block of Forest Avenue. The incident occurred sometime between March 5 at 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on March 7. 

Suspended driver's license

Evan William Graves, 24, of Willowbrook, was cited for speeding, driving an uninsured motor vehicle and speeding near Park Boulevard and College Avenue on March 5 at 10:03 a.m. 

Stephanie Leigh Scates, 25, of Downers Grove, was cited for driving without a license and speeding near Fawell Boulevard and Ramblewood Drive on March 8 at 11:24 a.m.

Thomas P. Kokonas, 58, of Winfield, was cited for driving an uninsured motor vehicle, driving with a suspended license on March 9 at 4:07 p.m near Crescent Boulevard and Crescent Drive. According to the police report, Kokonas also had an active warrant for his arrest.  

Possession of drug equipment

Frank A. Digiola, 19, of La Grange Park, was cited for speeding and charged with possession of drug equipment near Park Boulevard and College Avenue on March 5 at 10:46 a.m. 

Fighting

Michael D. Dopson, 21, of Chicago, of was cited for driving with a suspended license and fighting at McDonalds, 445 Roosevelt Rd., on March 6 at 7:11 p.m. 

Public intoxication

Larry Bebo, 52, of Wheaton, was cited for public intoxication at Dominick's, 880 Roosevelt Rd., on March 9 at 12:54 p.m. 

Graffiti

An unknown offender spray painted graffiti on the storage shed at Churchill Park on March 10 at 7 a.m.
