Police Blotter: Wallet Grabbed, Construction Tools Snagged, Building Tagged

SUNDAY, NOV. 18
Driving under the influence
James A. Breen, 22, of the 300 block of Maple, Lombard, was arrested at 3:10 a.m. at Roosevelt Road and Parkside Avenue, Glen Ellyn Police said. He was charged with speeding and driving under the influence.
SATURDAY, NOV. 17Driving under the influence
- Azmat Masud, 36, of the 2800 block of Aster Lane, Darien, was arrested at 1:15 a.m. at Roosevelt Road and Royal Glen Drive, police said. She was charged with speeding and driving under the influence.
- Christopher D. Scott, 50, of the 3100 block of North Lake Shore Drive, was arrested at 10:36 p.m. at Baker Hill Drive and Roosevelt Road, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence.
Vehicle damage
A resident reported that her car was hit by a golf ball while she was driving on Lambert Avenue. The incident, which was reported at 1 p.m., took place near Lambert Avenue and Orchard Lane, police said.

Public intoxication
Josiah J. Yeahman, 39, of the 0-99 block of Greenwood Court, was arrested at 6:58 p.m. at Taco Bell-KFC, 370 Roosevelt Road, police said. He was charged with public intoxication.
Possession
Andrew N. Haines, 23, of the 1600 block of Longfellow Court, Wheaton, was arrested at 8:55 p.m. at McDonald’s 445 Roosevelt Road, police said. He was charged with possession of drug equipment.

Theft
Someone reported at 9:30 p.m. a wallet was stolen from a jacket left unattended on bleachers in the gym at Parkview Community Church, 764 St. Charles Road, police said. The theft was less than $500.
WEDNESDAY, NOV. 14Criminal damage
Someone damaged the name sign for the football field at Glenbard West High School, 670 Crescent Boulevard, police said. The incident took place between 6 p.m. Nov. 13 and 6 a.m. Nov. 14.
Criminal defacement
Someone tagged a building at 538 Duane St. with graffiti, police said. The back of the building was spray painted and the owner was contacted to have the graffiti removed.
TUESDAY, NOV. 13Burglary
A resident reported someone broke into a home in the 600 block of Forest Avenue through an unsecured window, police said. The incident took place between 4:30 p.m. Nov. 12 and 7:15 a.m. Nov. 13. A number of construction tools were stolen.
Disorderly conduct
Brandon J O’Neal, 20, of the 700 block of Forest Avenue, was arrested at 9:15 a.m. in the 700 block of Forest Avenue, police said. He was charged with disorderly conduct.
