Police Blotter: Unlawful Solicitation, Domestic Battery and More

The following arrest information was supplied by the Glen Ellyn Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Driving under the influence

Stacy M. Mueller, 28, of Lombard was charged with driving under the influence on April 30 at 1:08 a.m. near Baker Hill and Route 53. Mueller was also cited for driving with a suspended license and sign violation. 

Juan C. Aviles, 30, of Wheaton was charged with driving under the influence on May 2 at 1:15 a.m. near Main Street and Fairview Avenue. Aviles was also cited for driving with a revoked license and sign violation.

Rodrigo I. Salazar, 47, of Wheaton was charged with driving under the influence on May 6 at 3:32 a.m. near Main Street and Roosevelt Road. Salazar was also cited for illegal transportation of alcohol, uninsured motor vehicle, speeding, improper lane usage and failure to signal. 

Unlawful solicitation

Anthony W. Sabal, 61, of Glen Ellyn was charged with unlawful solicitation in the 500 block of Crescent Boulevard on May 1 at 4:34 p.m. 

Domestic battery

Paul B. Rogers, 19, of Glen Ellyn was charged with domestic battery on May 5 at 5:11 a.m. in the 600 block of Fairview Avenue. 

Illegal consumption of alcohol 

John J. McKay, 18, of Glen Ellyn was cited for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor on May 6 at 12:38 a.m. near Oxford Road and Spring Avenue. 

Theft

An unknown offender stole a cell phone from an unattended gym bag left in the men's locker room of the YMCA, 49 Deicke Dr., on May 1 at 3:21 p.m.

Criminal defacement

While on patrol, an officer observed graffiti on a window located on the north side of the Dreisiliker Electric Motors building, 352 Roosevelt Rd., at 4:09 a.m., May 4.
