Police Blotter: Underage Drinking, Fighting and Possession of Cannabis

The following arrest information was supplied by the Glen Ellyn Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Consumption of alcohol by a minor: Jack E. Vanmarter, 18, of Wheaton was issued a citation for drinking underage. Vanmarter was cited while walking near Oak Street and Lenox Road on Oct. 23 at 1:11 a.m. A Glendale Heights juvenile was also cited with Vanmarter.

Possession of cannabis: A juvenile was cited for possession of cannabis at 9:30 a.m. while at Glenbard West High School, 670 Crescent Blvd., on Oct. 25. 

Fighting: Three Glen Ellyn juvniles were cited for fighting at Glenbard West High School on Oct. 25 at 11:20 a.m.

Possession of cannabis: Officers responded to a suspicious vehicle report near Oak Street and Lenox Road on Oct. 25 at 6:24 p.m. Two Glen Ellyn juveniles were then cited for possession of cannabis and drug equipment. 

Trespass to real property: Officers responded to a trespass report in the 600 block of Sheehan Avenue on Oct. 28 at 8:04 p.m. According to the report, the Glen Ellyn juvenile entered the home looking for a party. The juvenile was issued citations for criminal trespass and illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor.

Consumption of alcohol by a minor: Officers responded to a report of an underage drinking party in the 300 block of Kenilworth Avenue on Oct. 29 around 11:30 p.m. According to the report, two Glen Ellyn juveniles were issued citations for possession of alcohol by a minor. 

Possession of alcohol by a minor: Officers responded to a report of an underage drinking party and intoxicated driver near Prospect and Phillips Avenues on Oct. 29 at 11:37 p.m. According to the report, a Winfield juvenile was cited for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor and a graduated driver's license violation of restricted driving times.
