Police Blotter: Stolen Laptop, Missing Bikes, Cannabis Possession
Glen Ellyn Police Department reports, July 8-15
Possession
Grant L. Witte, 30, of the 600 block of Roosevelt Road, was arrested at 11 a.m. in the 600 block of Roosevelt Road, Glen Ellyn police said. He was charged with possession of cannabis, 30 grams and under, resisting/obstructing an officer and criminal damage to property.
Driving under the influence
Timothy P. Egan, 48, of the 800 block of Foxworth Boulevard, Lombard, was arrested at 9:39 p.m. in the 1100 block of Roosevelt Road, police said. He was charged with driving without insurance and driving while under the influence.
Uninsured
Jose Hernandez, 50, of the 700 block of West Sunset Avenue, Villa Park, was arrested at 6:43 a.m. at Route 53 and Grove Avenue, police said. He was charged with driving without a license, driving without insurance and improper lane use.

Stolen bike
Someone reported that a bicycle, which was left at a bike rack at the train depot was stolen between 6:55 a.m. and 6:15 p.m., police said. The bike was valued at more than $1,500.
Tuesday, July 10Suspended license
Police said that Alexander Ty Bravos, 24, of the 800 block of Crescent Boulevard, was arrested at 2:46 p.m. at the intersection of Roosevelt and Pershing roads. He was charged with making an improper turn at an intersection and driving with a suspended license.

Suspended license
Lemests Halloway, 32, of the 800 block of Sandra Drive in University Park, was arrested at 2 p.m. at the intersection of Roosevelt and Pershing roads, police said. He was charged with driving with a suspended license and suspended registration.
Graffiti
Someone reported that graffiti was spray painted on a sidewalk near the boat house at Lake Ellyn Park, police said. The incident took place between 3 p.m. July 10 and 10:18 a.m. Wednesday.
Stolen bike
A bicycle was reported stolen from the train depot, 555 Crescent Blvd., police said. The bike was stolen sometime between 11 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. It was valued at $160.
Vehicle burglary
- A laptop and portable DVD player were stolen in the 900 block of Winslow Circle between midnight and 8 a.m., police said. The items were stolen from the vehicle while it was parked in the driveway.
- License plates and a registration sticker were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 1200 block of Cheltenham Drive, police said. The theft took place while the vehicle was parked in a parking lot between 10 a.m. July 9 and 10 a.m. July 11.
Intoxication
Michael E. Hardin, 49, of the 700 block of West Liberty, Wheaton, was arrested at 1 p.m. at Jewel, 599 East Roosevelt Road, police said. He was charged with public intoxication.
Fighting
- Police said Corey J. McMahon, 33, of the 1700 block of Roosevelt Road, Wheaton, was arrested at 2:35 p.m. along the Prairie Path, police said. He was charged with public intoxication and fighting.
- Clayton T. Massey, 28, of the 3 N 020 block of Lakewood Road, West Chicago, was arrested at 2:35 p.m. along the Prairie Path, police said. He was charged with public intoxication and fighting.
Paraphernalia
Jarrid J. Arranz, 19, of the 300 block of Cimmaron, Lombard, was arrested at 3:25 a.m. in the 200 block of Oak Street, police said. He was charged with possession of drug equipment.
Sunday, July 15Residential burglary
A resident in the 200 block of May Avenue reported that someone entered an unlocked garage and stole a longboard, police said. The longboard was valued at about $270.
