Police Blotter: Stolen iPhone, Laptop and Wallet
The following arrest information was supplied by the Glen Ellyn Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Driving while license revoked: While on patrol, an officer performed a traffic stop near Geneva Road and Western Avenue on Aug. 1 at 12:02 a.m. According to the report, Michael A. Bowling, 42, of the 3400 block of Warren Avenue, Bellwood, was issued a citation for driving with a revoked license.
Driving under the influence of drugs: While on patrol, an officer performed a traffic stop near Route 53 and St. Charles Road on Aug. 1 at 12:25 a.m. According to the report, Jonathan W. Bowe, 32, of the 4600 block of Yackley Avenue, Lisle, was charged with a one count complaint for driving under the influence of intoxicating compounds and issued two traffic citations for expired registration and one for improper lane usage.
Theft over $500: An unknown offender stole a bike sometime between 5 a.m. and 4:50 p.m. on Aug. 1 near the 400 block of Forest Avenue. The bike is valued at $500.

Theft over $300: An unknown offender stole a laptop computer from the bench in front of 485 N. Main St. on Aug. 2 at 12:20 a.m. The computer is valued at $700.
Theft over $300: An unknown offender stole a wallet and iPhone from a table in the 600 block of Roosevelt Road on Aug. 5 at 10:15 p.m.

Criminal damage to property: Officers responded to a damage report in the 500 block of Ahlstrand Road on Aug. 6 at 9:22 a.m. According to the report, an unknown offender damaged two lamps on private property. The damage is estimated at $100.
Driving under the influence: While on patrol, an officer performed a traffic stop on St. Charles Road just west of Eastern Avenue on Aug. 6 at 2:24 a.m. According to the report, Matthew W. England, 31, of the 600 block of Longview Drive, St. Charles, was charged with a one count complaint for driving under the influence. England was also issued citations for disobeying a traffic control device, improper lane usage and stopping, standing or parking prohibited.
