Police Blotter: Object Tossed Through Church Window

The following arrest information was supplied by the Glen Ellyn Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Criminal damage to property

An unknown offender removed a sundial from the First Congregational Church's property, 535 Forest Ave., and threw the object through one of the church's windows on April 29 at 9:38 p.m.

Joseph A. Martinez, 39, of Glen Ellyn was charged with aggravated battery on April 24 at 7:34 p.m. in the 300 block of Duane Street.

Domestic battery

Satteria D. Howery, 21, of Glen Ellyn was charged with domestic battery and unlawful interference with the reporting of domestic violence in the 300 block of Duane Street on April 25 at 9:04 p.m.  

Maxine C. McQueen, 37, of Glen Ellyn was charged with domestic battery and unlawful interference with reporting domestic violence in the 300 block of Duane Street on April 29 at 10:39 p.m. 

Possession of cannabis

Kyle Dahlgren, 18, of Glen Ellyn was charged with possession of cannabis and drug equipment near Hillcrest Avenue and Illinois Street on April 26 at 3:47 p.m.

Ron Albert Menard Jr., 25, of Wheaton was charged with possession of cannabis in the 600 block of Roosevelt Road on April 25 at 1:05 a.m.  

Theft

An unknown offender stole several delivery packages from the locked foyer area of a building in the 100 block of Surrey Drive sometime between 12 p.m. on April 24 and 4:51 p.m. on April 24. 

Criminal damage to property

An unknown offender broke a lock on a camper parked in a lot in the 500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue. The incident occurred sometime between 4 p.m. on April 24 and 6 a.m. on April 25.

An unknown offender damaged a light post in the driveway of a residence located in the 500 block of Phillips Avenue sometime between 11 a.m. on April 25 and 7 a.m. on April 26. 

An unknown offender damaged a mailbox in the 100 block of Ott Road sometime between 10 p.m. on April 25 and 7 a.m. on April 26. 

Criminal damage to vehicle

An unknown offender broke a symbol off a vehicle's grill in the 600 block of Roosevelt Road sometime between 8:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. on April 25. 

An unknown offender used an unknown object to scratch the hood and side panel of a vehicle located in the 700 block of Euclid Road sometime betwen 7 p.m. on April 27 and 10 a.m. on April 28. 

Burglary to motor vehicle

An unknown offender broke a vehicle's passenger rear window and stole a purse from the locked car while it was parked at Ackerman Park, 800 St. Charles Rd., on April 26 between 5:35 a.m. and 6:47 a.m.   

Criminal defacement

An unknown offender vandalized the Forest Glen School, 561 Elm St., playground equipment at 12:19 p.m. on April 29.
