Police Blotter: Missing Rims, Stolen X-Box and Two for Fighting

The Glen Ellyn Police Department arrest reports for Oct. 22 to 28.

SUNDAY, OCT. 28

Disorderly conduct

Christopher J. O’Connell, 20, of the 1N300 block of Prairie Avenue, was arrested at 11:45 a.m. at the Train Depot, 555 Crescent Blvd., Glen Ellyn Police said. He was charged with disorderly conduct.

Public Intoxication

Anthony M. Krause, 24, of 703 W. Liberty Ave., Wheaton (DuPage PADS), was arrested 2:10 p.m. at Duane Street and Prospect Avenue, police said. He was charged with public intoxication.

SATURDAY, OCT. 27

Possession

Police said Andres Garcia, 24, of the 100 block of Jacobsen Avenue, Glendale Heights, was arrested at 11:09 p.m. at America’s Best Value Inn, 675 Roosevelt Road. He was charged with possession of drug equipment and possession of cannabis, 30 grams an under.

FRIDAY, OCT. 26

Driving under the influence

Joy A. Horak, 43, of the 18 West 300 block of Stone Avenue, Addison, was arrested at Roosevelt Road and I-355 at 11:28 p.m., police said. She was charged with driving under the influence.

Suspended license

Eliel Barrera, 29, of the 500 block of East Gunderson Drive, Carol Stream, was arrested at 9:03 p.m. at Western Avenue and Geneva Road, police said. He was charged with failing to yield when making a left turn, driving with a suspended license and driving an uninsured vehicle.

Theft

  • Police said someone reported a theft at 12:39 p.m. at Game Stop, 545 Roosevelt Road. Someone stole a used X-Box 360 from the store. The game console was valued at less than $500.
  • A political sign was stolen from a front yard of a home in the 800 block of Maryknoll Circle, police said. The theft took place between 7 p.m. Oct. 25 and 8 a.m. Oct. 26.

THURSDAY, OCT. 25

Criminal trespass

Police said Robert L. Schnable, 52, of 703 W. Liberty Ave., Wheaton (DuPage PADS), was arrested at 6:59 p.m. at 500 N. Main St. He was charged with public intoxication and criminal trespass to real property.

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 24

Theft

Sometime between 11:30 p.m. Oct. 23 and 7 a.m. Oct. 24, vehicle parts were stolen off an inoperable vehicle, police said. The report was made in the 100 block of Briar Street. Tires and rims were stolen off the vehicle, which was left in a parking lot.

Vehicle burglary

Police said a vehicle was burglarized between 2:30 and 3 p.m. in the 300 block of Spruce Lane. A purse left inside an unlocked vehicle was stolen. The purse also had a cellphone and case inside. 

TUESDAY, OCT. 23

Burglary

Drew R. Cornwell, of the 300 block of Phillips Avenue, was arrested at 12:56 p.m. at the Main Street Recreation Center, 501 Hill Ave. Police said he was charged with burglary from a motor vehicle and criminal damage to property.

MONDAY, OCT. 22

Driving under the influence

Police said Jose Antemate, 27, of the first block of Parkside Avenue, was arrested at 11:56 p.m. in the 100 block of Parkside Avenue. He was charged with driving under the influence.

Fighting

Guadalupe Leigh Vivaldo, 25, of the 500 block of Park Plaza and Felix Basilio Rodriguez-Garcia, 36, of the 400 block of North Main Street, were arrested at 11:56 p.m. in the 100 block of Parkside Avenue. Police said both men were charged with fighting.
