Police Blotter: 8 DUI Charges and More Thefts at Glenbard West

The following arrest information was supplied by the Glen Ellyn Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Driving under the influence

Jennifer R. Rivera, 25, of Glendale Heights was charged with driving under the influence near Anthony and Main Streets May 7 at 1:06 a.m. Rivera was also charged with possession of drug equipment and cited for improper lane usage.

Isidro Escamilla, 31, of Glendale Heights was charged with aggravated driving under the influence near Western Avenue and Anthony Street May 7 at 3:49 p.m. Escamilla was also cited for unlawful display of title registration, illegal transportation of alcohol, no registration, driving an uninsured motor vehicle, driving with a suspended license and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Colleen P. Maffia, 28, of Glen Ellyn was charged with driving under the influence and cited for failure to signal near Surrey Drive and Brighton Street May 8 at 1:18 a.m. 

Andrew W. Dieterle, 24, of Wheaton was charged with driving under the influence near Baker Hill Drive and Roosevelt Road May 9 at 1:04 a.m. Dieterle was also cited for improper turn at intersection and failure to signal.

Juan Bautista, 21, of Villa Park was charged with aggravated driving under the influence near Interstate 355 and Roosevelt Road May 9 at 2:15 a.m. Bautista was also cited for driving without a license and improper lane usage. 

Lynn C. Klein, 49, of Glen Ellyn was charged with aggravated driving under the influence in the 1200 block of Old Bond Court May 10 at 2:47 p.m. Klein was also cited for driving an uninsured motor vehicle, driving with a suspended license, illegal transportation of alcohol and no registration. 

John L. Kammes, 29, of Glen Ellyn was charged with driving under the influence near Baker Hill Drive and Route 53 May 13 at 2:04 a.m. Kammes was also cited for improper turn at an intersection and failure to signal.

Brett J. Schlimm, 27, of West Chicago was charged with driving under the influence near Geneva Road and Western Avenue May 13 at 7:24 p.m. Schlimm was also cited for illegal transportation of alcohol, driving an uninsured motor vehicle, and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Public intoxication

Santos O. Rodriguez, 26, of Chicago was cited for public intoxication and disorderly conduct May 12 at 12 a.m. in the 400 block fo Main Street.

Zachary P. Siwinski, 24, of Villa Park was cited for public intoxication and disorderly conduct May 12 at 12 a.m. in the 400 block of Main Street.

Vincent F. Sabo, 48, of Wheaton was cited for public intoxication at Pfuetze Park near Park Boulevard and Hillside Avenue May 13 at 6:34 p.m. 

Theft

Robert A. Zincoris, 45, of Chicago was cited for retail theft in the 300 block of Roosevelt Road on May 10 at 3:01 p.m. 

An unknown offender stole a cell phone for a locked gym locker at Glenbard West High School, 650 Crescent Blvd., May 7 between 10:40 and 11:15 a.m.

An unknown offender stole $120 in cash and iPod Touch from an unlocked locker at Glenbard West High School, 650 Crescent Blvd., May 8 between 7:40 and 8:30 a.m.

An unknown offender broke the rear-door window of a vehicle in the Health Track Sports Wellness Center, 875 Roosevelt Rd., and stole a purse from the passenger seat May 10 between 8:50 and 10 p.m.

An unknown offender stole a cell phone from a student's sweatshirt while unattended in the Glenbard West High School library, 650 Crescent Blvd., on May 9 at 1:30 p.m.  

Possession of drug equipment

Ivan E. Mondragon, 21, of Wheaton was cited for possession of drug equipment, driving an uninsured motor vehicle, driving with a suspended license and failure to signal May 11 at 9:33 p.m. near Roosevelt Road and Parkside Avenue.

Possession of cannabis

Ron A. Menard, 25, of Wheaton was cited for possession of cannabis, drug equipment at Ackerman Park May 13 at 10:43 a.m. Menard also had an in-state warrant for his arrest.
