Shopping Bag Stolen from Car

Someone entered an unlocked vehicle in the 400 block of Roosevelt Road and stole a shopping bag containing two memory cards for a camera. The incident occurred sometime between 4:30 p.m. and 5 p.m.

Driving Without a License

Carolina Blancas-Lopez, 28, of Glen Ellyn was cited for driving without a license, an uninsured motor vehicle and speeding at Park Boulevard and College Road at 9:01 p.m.

Cash Stolen from Cars on Hill Avenue

An unknown offender entered two unlocked vehicles parked in the driveway of a home located in the 700 block of Hill Avenue and stole $3 in cash and two rolls of quarters. The incident occurred sometime overnight between 12 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. the next morning.

Man Faces Domestic Battery Charge

William B. Schmitz, 43, of Glen Ellyn was charged with domestic battery at 5:45 p.m. in the 300 block of Marion Avenue.

Public Intoxication on Main Street

James J. De Leo, 44, of Glen Ellyn was cited for public intoxication in the 400 block of Main Street at 9:44 p.m.

DUI on Main and Elm

Kyle C. Hoel, 24, of Carol Stream was charged with driving under the influence at Main and Elm Streets at 10:15 p.m. Hoel was also cited for disobeying a red light and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Hoel struck another vehicle in traffic, and the other driver was not injured, said Deputy Police Chief Bill Holmer.

Domestic Battery Charge

James M. De George, 37, of Mokena was charged with domestic battery at 12:31 p.m. in the 300 block of Vine Street.

Bike Stolen From Back Yard

A bike was taken from the back yard of a home in the 700 block of Western Avenue. The incident occurred sometime overnight between 9 p.m. and 8 a.m. the next morning.

Public Indecency at Gym

Scott W. Landreth, 52, of Glen Ellyn was cited for public indecency at Health Track, 875 Roosevelt Rd., at 9:25 p.m. Landreth left the locker room only wearing a shift, exposing himself to others, said Deputy Police Chief Bill Holmer.

Driving While License Revoked

James B. Kinzel, 43, of Lombard was cited for driving while license revoked and improper lane usage at 10: 15 p.m. at Roosevelt and Lorraine roads.

Driving While License Suspended

Benjamin P. Hill, 19, of Glen Ellyn was cited for driving an uninsured motor vehicle, driving while license suspended and equipment violation at 2:17 a.m. at Geneva and Western roads.

MONDAY, MAY 28

Car Hood Dented

An unknown offender dented the hood of a vehicle sometime between 2 and 4 p.m. According to the report, there was a large scratch on the rear passenger-side door and rear passenger-side quarter panel of the vehicle, which was parked on the 500 block of Crescent Boulevard. The damage is estimated at $1,800.
