Gas Guzzler Drive Off, Rash of Thefts at Glenbard West: Police Blotter
The Glen Ellyn Police Department reports for Sept. 3-9.
SUNDAY, SEPT. 9
Public intoxication
Corey McMahon, 33, of 703 W. Liberty, Wheaton, (DuPage PADS), was arrested at 4:20 p.m. in the 400 block of Duane St., Glen Ellyn police said. He was charged with public intoxication.
SATURDAY, SEPT. 8Driving under the influence
Richard C. Osiecki, 48, of the 500 block of S. Erie Street, Wheaton, was arrested at 11:44 p.m. at Roosevelt and Lambert roads, police said. He was charged with operating an uninsured motor vehicle, failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident and driving under the influence of alcohol.

Rash of thefts
Sometime between Wednesday and Friday, students at Glenbard West High School reported that items were stolen from lockers, police said. There were four incidents reported during that time frame. Wallets and cellphones were stolen from unlocked lockers or from backpacks left unattended.
THURSDAY, SEPT. 6Driving under the influence
Police said Javier D. Porcayo, 36, of the 1600 block of Woodduck Lane, Wheeling, was arrested at 2:31 a.m. in the 600 block of Roosevelt Road. He was charged with driving without a license and driving under the influence of alcohol.

Gasoline drive-off
Police said someone reported at 6:52 p.m. that a driver drove off from the Shell at 631 Roosevelt Road after stealing $99.25 in gasoline.
