Driving under the influence

David J. Petroskey, 69, of the 25W700 block of Ambrust Street, Wheaton, was arrested at 1:11 a.m. at Geneva Road and Nachtman Court, Glen Ellyn Police said. He was charged with driving under the influence and improper lane usage.

Driving under the influence

• Adam K. Bartel, 30, of the 300 block of North Martha Street, Lombard, was arrested at 12:14 a.m. at Route 53 and Surrey Drive, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence and speeding.
• Police said Rachel M. Harrolle, 48, of the 800 block of Napa Street, Carol Stream, was arrested at 2:16 a.m. at Park and Hawthorne boulevards. She was charged with driving under the influence and improper lane use.

Retail theft

Police said an employee at Dominick’s, 880 Roosevelt Road, reported a retail theft at 9:43 p.m. Someone stole three bottles of wine from the store.

Violation of bond

Jason Robert Schultz, 38, of 703 W. Liberty (DuPage PADS), Wheaton, was arrested at 1:29 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 550 N. Main St., police said. He was charged with violation of a bail bond and criminal trespass to real property.

Suspended license

Alfonso D. Ruiz, 23, of the 200 block of Robin Lane, Wood Dale, was arrested at 9:58 p.m. at Geneva Road and Pleasant Avenue, police said. He was charged with speeding, driving with a suspended license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

Shoplifting

• Shane B. McDonald, 21, of the 700 block of Marilyn Avenue, Glendale Heights, was arrested at 10:08 a.m. at Jewel, 599 Roosevelt Road, police said. He was charged with retail theft – shoplifting. The items stolen were not disclosed.
• Police said Sean R. Horak, 23, of the 500 block of Spruce Road, Bolingbrook, was arrested at 10:08 a.m. at Jewel, 599 Roosevelt Road. He was charged with retail theft – shoplifting. The items stolen were not disclosed.
• Roy E. Staples, 47, of the 1200 block of Sturdy Road, Valparaiso, IN was arrested at 8:30 p.m. at AT&T, 547 Roosevelt Road, police said. He was charged with retail theft - shoplifting. The items stolen were not disclosed.

Theft

• Ron A. Menard, Jr., 25, of 703 W. Liberty (DuPage PADS), Wheaton, was arrested at 5:06 p.m. at Starbucks, 536 Crescent Blvd., police said. He was charged with a theft, less than $500.
• Police said someone at Dominick’s, 880 Roosevelt Road, reported at 1:23 p.m. the theft of liquor from the store. The thief or thieves stole several bottles of wine and champagne. The estimated loss was valued at about $303.

Intoxication

Valentin Carlos, 46, of the first block of Briar Street, was arrested at 11:07 p.m. in the 1100 block of Heather Lane, police said. He was charged with public intoxication.
