Police Blotter: Bikes Snagged, Wrong Way Driving, Resisting Arrest

SATURDAY, MAY 25

Resisting


Kyle R. Radon, 21, of the 400 block of Bryant Avenue was arrested at 12:30 a.m. in the 500 block of Pennsylvania Ave., police said. He was charged with public intoxication  and resisting a peace officer.

Liquor law violation


Glen Ellyn Police said Caroline L. Whiting, 18, of the 300 block of South Peoria Street, Chicago, was arrested at 2:11 a.m. in the 300 block of North Park Boulevard. She was charged with violation of the liquor law, illegal possession of alcohol by a minor and criminal damage to property.

Public intoxication


Ralph R. Robertson, 48, of the 700 block of West Liberty, Wheaton, was arrested at 7:02 p.m. in the 200 block of Hawthorne Boulevard, police said. he was charged with public intoxication and resisting a peace officer.

Driving under the influence


Ann M. Abel, 44, of the 300 block of Kenilworth, was arrested at 10:41 p.m. at Crescent Boulevard and Main Street, police said. She was charged with driving under the influence, improper lane use, making an improper turn at an intersection and failing to signal.


FRIDAY, MAY 24

Theft


A resident in the 600 block of Crescent Boulevard reported at 8:06 a.m. that someone entered an unlocked garage and stole several bicycles and a longboard, police said. The value of the items taken was about $1,400.


WEDNESDAY, MAY 22

Driving under the influence


Police said Alvin Luis Davila, 42, of the 300 Windsor Ave., was arrested at 3:40 a.m. at Lambert and Greenfield. He was charged with driving under the influence, improper lane use, driving while his license is suspended and on outstanding warrants from DuPage and Stephenson counties.

Theft


A student reported that sometime between 10:30 and 11:25 a.m. a cellphone was stolen from a locked locker in Beister Gym at Glenbard West, police said.


TUESDAY, MAY 21

Paraphernalia possession


Sean T. Rochford, 18, of the 0-99 block of North Garfield Street, Lombard, was arrested at 8:52 a.m. at Park and Wilson, police said. He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, illegal possession of alcohol by a minor and speeding in a school zone.


MONDAY, MAY 20

Revoked license


Police said Jamie P. Matthews, 30, of the 1500 block of Amy Avenue, Glendale Heights, was arrested at 2:51 p.m. at Main and Elm streets. He was charged with driving while his license is revoked.

Vehicle burglary


Someone reported that a keys and a wallet were taken from an unlocked car left at HealthTrack, 875 Roosevelt Road. The incident took place between 11:30 and 11:40 a.m., police said.

SUNDAY, MAY 19

Driving the wrong way


Equan A. Cox, 18, of 0-99 block of North Main Street, was arrested at 3:43 p.m. at Parkside and the Park Plaza Alley, police said. Cox was charged with driving the wrong way on a one-way street and driving without a drivers license.

Theft


A sign was stolen from the front of the Princess Table, 530 Duane St., police said. The theft was reported at 4:45 p.m. The sign was valued at about $300.
