Police Blotter: Aggravated Driving, Stolen iPod Touch

Glen Ellyn Police Department reports, Sept. 17-22

SATURDAY, SEPT. 22

Unlicensed

Jose E. Pani, 46, of the 1800 block of Sommerset, Glendale Heights, was arrested at 12:17 a.m. at Main Street and Emerson Avenue, Glen Ellyn police said. He was charged with driving without a driver’s license, improper lane usage and making an improper turn at an intersection.

FRIDAY, SEPT. 21

Forgery

Jackhla Quamesha Elliston, 20, of the 4800 block of Hawthorn Avenue, Hillside, was arrested at 4:43 p.m. at Fifth-Third Bank, 704 Roosevelt Road, police said. She was charged with forgery.

Burglary

Police said a someone in the 700 block of Pleasant Avenue reported at 3:08 p.m. that the residence had been broken into. Someone forced entry into an unoccupied home and stole miscellaneous jewelry. The value of the jewelry stolen was not disclosed in the police report.

THURSDAY, SEPT. 20

Suspended license

Police said Rodrigo Estrada, 23, of the 4800 block of South Ada, Chicago, was arrested at 12:32 p.m. at the intersection of Geneva Road and Evergreen Avenue. He was charged with driving an uninsured motor vehicle, driving while his license was

WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 19

Aggravated driving

Eric Tyrone Ealey, 39, of the 10 S 600 block of Hyacinth, Willowbrook, was arrested at 8:16 p.m. at Roosevelt Road and Pershing Avenue, police said. He was charged with aggravated driving while license revoked.

Theft

A student at Glenbard West High School reported that between 3 and 7 p.m. someone had stolen a cell phone, police said. The phone was left in an unlocked locker in the gym locker room. The phone was valued at under $500.

TUESDAY, SEPT. 18

Theft

Police said someone reported a theft at 6 p.m. at Surrey Park, Surrey Drive and Briar Street. Someone stole an iPod Touch that was left on a park bench at the park. The value of the iPod Touch was about $200.

MONDAY, SEPT. 17

Possession

Police said Kevin Nunez, 20, of the 100 block of Surrey Drive, was arrested at 11:35 p.m. in the 100 block of Surrey Drive. He was charged with possession of cannabis, 30 grams and under and possession of drug equipment.
