Police Blotter: 16-Year-Old Smoking Pot at Glenbard West and BB Gun Damages Car

The following arrest information was supplied by the Glen Ellyn Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Possession of cannabis: A 16-year-old was cited from smoking cannabis in the men’s bathroom at Glenbard West High School on Oct. 20 at 10:30 a.m. The juvenile was cited for possession of cannabis and drug equipment.

Possession of cannabis: Elliot J. Davey, 20, of Glen Ellyn, was issued a traffic citation for disobeying a stop sign on Oct. 19 at 10:23 p.m. in the 600 block of Maiden Lane. According to the report, Davey was also issued a citation for possession of cannabis.

DUI: Nicole Mahlmann, 23, of Naperville, was charged with driving under the influence and was issued a citation for speeding on Oct. 22 at 3:15 a.m. near Roosevelt Road and Hillcrest Avenue.

No valid driver’s license: Rachel R. Huska, 26, of Lombard was cited for driving without a valid driver’s license and speeding on Oct. 16 near Roosevelt Road and Surrey Drive.

Criminal damage to vehicle: An unknown offender shot the rear-passenger window of a car located in the 700 block of Pershing Avenue with a BB gun. According to the report, the incident occurred sometime between Oct. 16 and Oct. 23.

Criminal defacement of property: An unknown offender sprayed graffiti inside the women’s bathroom at Ackerman Park, 800 W. St. Charles Road. According to the report, the incident occurred sometime between Oct. 17 and Oct. 18.

Criminal trespass to property: Officers responded to a domestic situation involving a 16-year-old in the 400 block of Kenilworth Avenue on Oct. 18 at 12:10 p.m. According to the report, the juvenile was later located on the railroad tracks and issued citations for criminal trespass to property and interference with a police officer.

Suspended driver’s license: Paul M. Rodriguez, 41, of Joliet, was issued a citation for a suspended driver’s license and cited for failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident on Oct. 21 at 6:42 p.m. near Roosevelt Road and Briar Street.

Criminal damage to property: An unknown offender spray painted a garage in the 700 block of Elm Street sometime between 9:40 p.m. on Oct. 22 and 12:40 a.m. on Oct. 23.
