Multiple Glen Ellyn Residents Cited for Possession of Cannabis

The following arrest information was supplied by the Glen Ellyn Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Possession of cannabis: Officers responded to a domestic report in the 300 block of Kenilworth Avenue on Sept. 2 at 6:07 p.m. According to the report, a 14-year-old male was issued a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia and cannabis.

Possession of drug paraphernalia: While on patrol, an officer performed a traffic stop near Lambert Road and Buena Vista Drive on Aug. 30 at 10:52 a.m. According to the report, Nicole T. Lucchesi, 21, of the 800 block of Abbey Drive, Glen Ellyn, was issued citations for speeding and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Possession of cannabis: While on patrol, an officer made contact with an individual in the 600 block of Roosevelt Road on Aug. 29 at 9:29 p.m. According to the report, Walter T. Hankins, 20, of the 600 block of Roosevelt Road, Glen Ellyn, was issued a citation for possession of cannabis.

Possession of cannabis: While on patrol, an officer observed a vehicle parked on the far west side of Ackerman Park, 800 St. Charles Rd., on Sept. 2 at 10:23 p.m. According to the report, Drew L. Rosenwinkel, 22, of the 1000 block of Memory Court, Glen Ellyn, was issued a citation for possession of cannabis.

Possession of cannabis: According to the report, Trevor J. Llamas was  transported to the DuPage County Jail on Aug. 28 at 2:09 a.m. for violation of a bail bond when he was allegedly found to have cannabis in his possession. Llamas was then charged with possession of cannabis.

Criminal damage to property: While on foot patrol, an officer noticed a cracked window on the south side of the train depot, 555 Crescent Blvd., on Aug. 28 at 12:45 p.m. According to the report, an unknown offender punched the window causing the glass to spider but did not break through.

Theft over $300: Officers responded to a reported theft in the 700 block of Turner Avenue on Aug. 28 at 5:18 p.m. According to the report, an unknown offender stole a lawn mower, trimmer, blower and power cords from the victim’s vehicle. The estimated loss is valued at $760.

Criminal trespass to vehicle: According to a report, an unknown offender rummaged through a vehicle located in the Schock Village Square Parking Lot sometime between 7:30 a.m. on Aug. 30 and 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 29. The report states that the victim observed the front door slightly open and the contents of the glove box were on the front floorboards and seats. No items were reported missing or damaged.

Criminal damage to property: Officers responded to a damage report in the 300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue on Sept. 3 at 10:37 p.m. According to the report, an unknown offender unfastened two hydraulic pistons that held up the hood of the car. Estimated damage cost is unknown at this time.

No valid driver’s license: While on patrol, an officer performed a traffic stop near Geneva and Western Avenues on Sept. 3 at 11:48 a.m. According to the report, Blanca Escutia, 27, of the 6100 block of Kolmar Avenue, Chicago, was issued citations for speeding and driving without a valid license.

Theft under $300: Officers responded to a reported theft in the 300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue on Sept. 3 at 11 a.m. According to the report, an unknown offender stole a bicycle from the area. The bike is estimated at $150.

Driving while license revoked: While on patrol, an officer performed a traffic stop near Main Street and Emerson Avenue on Aug. 31 at 8:21 a.m. According to the report, Andre C. Smith, 28, of the 2N100 block of Claredon Avenue, Lombard, was issued citations for driving while license revoked and attempting to flee and elude officers, obstructing justice, possession of cannabis, reckless driving, and sign violation.
