Jewelry Stolen in Glen Ellyn Forced-Entry Burglary: Police Blotter

MONDAY, SEPT. 2

Stolen Bike I

Someone stole a $250 bicycle left unattended on a resident’s driveway on the 200 block of Hill. The incident occurred sometime between 5 p.m. Aug. 29 and 9:46 a.m. Sept. 2.

THURSDAY, AUG. 29

Garage Door Opener Swiped 

Someone stole a $35 garage door opener from an unlocked vehicle while it was parked in a driveway on the 700 block of Glenbard, according to police.

WEDNESDAY, AUG. 28

Forced-Entry Burglary

Someone forced entry to a home on the 900 block of Winslow Circle while the homeowners were away, according to police. The unknown offender(s) stole an undetermined amount of jewelry.

Stolen Bike II

Someone took a bike outside of a building on the first block of Carleton. The incident occurred sometime between 10:30 p.m. Aug. 27 and 5:30 a.m. Aug. 28, according to police. 

TUESDAY, AUG. 27

Criminal Damage to Property

Someone placed stickers on miscellaneous food items throughout a store on the 600 block of Roosevelt Road. The estimated loss is $35, according to police.

MONDAY, AUG. 26

Garbage Can Jacked

Someone stole a garbage can on the 300 block of Cumnor. The incident occurred sometime between 6 p.m. Aug. 25 and 7:30 a.m. Aug. 26.
